The Trinitarian God:

​

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The three are co-equal, co-eternal, of one essence, undivided in being and inseparable in operation. The Trinity is one God in three Persons, a mystery revealed in Scripture and confessed by the Church. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Genesis 1:1-2, Matthew 28:19-20, Matthew 3:16-17, John 1:1-3, 1 John 5:7).

God the Father:

​

We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible (Genesis 1:1, Revelation 4:11). In wisdom, power, holiness, and perfect love, He governs all things according to His will and for His glory (1 John 4:8, Psalm 145:17, 1 John 1:5, Colossians 1:16). He is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. He judges righteously, yet offers forgiveness to all who believe in His Son (Exod. 34:6).

Jesus:

​

We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages, Light from Light, true God from true God. Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15). For us and for our salvation, He became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, and was made truly human without ceasing to be truly divine—one Person in two natures without confusion, change, division, or separation. Jesus is the awaited Messiah who was crucified under Pontius Pilate, died, was buried, rose bodily on the third day, ascended into heaven, and will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.

Holy Spirit: 

​

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified. He inspired the prophets and apostles, convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, indwells believers, distributes the gifts, and sanctifies the Church. He fills all genuine believers with His personal presence and empowers them to live as Christ and to do God’s will. Through Him we are united to Christ and made co-heirs and co-laborers by grace. (John 14:26, 1 Cor. 2:12-14).

Sin:

​

In the beginning, humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through disobedience, resulting in a curse upon our world. This has affected all of our relationships, corrupting the good creations of God (Genesis 3). All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). All of mankind is completely and utterly separated from God because of sin. There is no possible way for people to restore themselves back to God. Apart from grace, we are inclined toward sin in thought, word, and deed.

Salvation:

 

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith, on account of Christ alone. In His obedient life, atoning death, and victorious resurrection, Jesus bore our sins, paid our debt, and triumphed over death and the powers of evil. Once someone has put their faith in Christ, they are justified by faith, reconciled to the Father, adopted as children of God, and progressively sanctified by the Spirit unto eternal life. This belief in Christ is not just a mental affirmation, it is a covenantal trust and loyal allegiance to Jesus as Lord over our whole life. (John 14:6)

Judgement:

​​

We believe that Jesus Christ will return bodily and visibly, to raise and judge the living and the dead. Those who have genuinely made Jesus their Savior and King will be saved to eternal communion with God. Those who have rejected Jesus and persisted in their sins will be committed to eternal separation from God. God wishes that none will perish but all will come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). God is a righteous and good judge and we can trust in Him (Romans 2:5-11). As the prophets spoke more than they fully understood concerning His first coming, so the full clarity of His second coming will be known in hindsight.

Then, God will renew the heavens and the earth, and His redeemed people will dwell with Him forever in the holy city, the New Jerusalem, a restored and glorified garden-city where righteousness dwells. This kingdom shall have no end.

Bible:

​

We confess that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the authoritative and infallible Word of God, given through the Holy Spirit by human authors (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:16–21). In the original manuscripts they are inerrant (Psalm 19:7), completely sufficient for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness.

The Church:

​

We believe in one, holy, catholic (universal), and apostolic Church, the Body of Christ and temple of the Holy Spirit, made up of believers who are united in Him and equipped with various spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:12–31). The Church is founded upon Jesus’ apostles and prophets, preserving the apostolic faith through Scripture, the historic creeds, and faithful teaching.

​

The Church exists to worship God, proclaim the gospel, administer the sacraments, and fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19–20).

​

We believe the Church is the Bride of Christ (Revelation 19:7), whom He is continually refining and preparing for the marriage banquet of eternity. Therefore, we do not neglect to gather together, but encourage and build one another up in love and good works (Hebrews 10:24–25).
